Is the internet used in the car buying process in NZ as much as it is in other countries around the world like The UK and the USA?
I believe from my research of car buying trends in NZ that is being used more and has been steadily growing over the last 8 years.
So the logical question to ask is why do car buyers use the internet when researching New and used cars.
1. Ease of information. It is much easier to search through information on the internet to be able to make a more informed purchasing decision than it is in any other medium like Newspapers , Magazines etc
2. More photos enabling the people to view the vehicle quickly before making a decision to go in and view the vehicle in person
3. People believe in many cases they are going to come out better because they have spent allot more time researching the many different vehicles and prices in NZ.
4. A easy factor being able to view a vehicle without having to go out in the cold and drive around browsing through different car dealers which can sometimes be a time consuming process
Now with some of these points in mind think if you where looking to buy a car what would you do?
If your answer reflects the 4 points above then contact me today to see how I can help you Market to where the customers are.
